Delivery Across South Georgia: How It Works
Plenty of our customers never tow the trailer home. Here is how delivery works and what to have sorted before we arrive.

We are in Douglas, Coffee County, and we deliver across South Georgia. For a lot of buyers — particularly first-time owners, or anyone whose tow vehicle is not ready — that is simpler than collecting.
Where we go
Our service area covers a wide radius out of Douglas, from the Okefenokee to the Ocmulgee and out toward the coast and the Florida line. Our service areas pages list the towns we serve regularly, each with the distance and direction from the lot.
If you do not see your town, ask. The list is the towns we go to most, not a boundary.
Before we arrive
- 1**Somewhere to put it.** Level, accessible, and with room for a truck and trailer to manoeuvre and turn around. This is the thing that most often causes a problem on arrival.
- 2**Clear access.** Gates open, vehicles moved, and any low branches on the route in dealt with.
- 3**Ground condition.** After rain, soft ground is a real consideration — a delivery truck getting stuck helps nobody.
- 4**Someone present** who can accept it and walk around it with the driver.
- 5**Paperwork ready**, and any financing completed.
The walk-around
Do it properly on arrival rather than after we have left. Check:
- The spec is what you ordered — size, doors, options, colour.
- Exterior condition all round, including the roof edge if you can see it.
- Doors and ramp operate correctly and latch.
- Lights work — connect it and check every function.
- Tyres and the spare.
- VIN plate present and matching the paperwork. Photograph it — our paperwork guide covers why.
- Interior clean, dry and as specified.
What to ask while we are there
This is the moment to ask, and we would rather answer on site than on the phone later.
- Anything about how the ramp or the latches work.
- Tyre pressures and the maintenance schedule.
- Brake controller setup if you are towing it yourself — our controller guide covers it.
- Loading and weight distribution for what you plan to haul.
- Anything about the options you ordered.
If you are towing it home instead
Perfectly normal, and worth checking your tow vehicle's capability first. Our guide on what truck can tow a cargo trailer covers matching, and the towing safety guide covers the first trip.
We will hitch it up and walk you through it before you leave the lot.
Ask us
